The All Progressives Congress (APC) announced on Monday that aspirants interested in running for the Anambra State governorship primary will be required to pay N50 million to obtain both the nomination and expression of interest forms.
The ruling party also released its primary election timetable, detailing the activities and dates of the process.
The schedule, signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Argungu, further specified that female aspirants and Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWD) would only need to pay N10 million for the expression of interest form, with the nomination form being provided free of charge.
Additionally, young politicians aged between 25 and 40 years who are interested in vying for the governorship ticket are encouraged to purchase the expression of interest form, with a 50% discount on the nomination form.
Argungu stated that all candidates vying for the Anambra State governorship position should visit the national headquarters of the APC in Wuse II, Abuja, between February 10 and 25 to purchase and collect their forms.
