BREAKING: EFCC has arrested popular TikTok personality, Murja Ibrahim Kunya, in Kano over allegations of abusing the Nigerian currency, the naira.

​The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested popular TikTok influencer Murja Ibrahim Kunya in Kano State for allegedly abusing the Nigerian currency, the naira. The arrest is part of a broader crackdown on individuals who misuse the naira, including other TikTok personalities like Al’amin G-Fresh and Ashir Idris. ​www.multilinks.biz

Previously, in January 2025, Kunya was arrested for violating the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Act, which prohibits the abuse and mutilation of naira notes. ​www.multilinks.biz
