BREAKING NEWS: Nigerians are to pay more for their vehicle and drivers license renewals and new ones as the Joint Tax Board (JTB) has approved an increment in price.

The new price adjustment will be effective Sunday, 8th June 2025.

JTB Approves Increase in Vehicle and Driver’s Licence Fees

Nigerians will soon pay more for the issuance and renewal of vehicle and driver’s licences. This follows the approval of a price increment by the Joint Tax Board (JTB).

The new rates will apply to both new applications and renewals and are scheduled to take effect from Sunday, June 8, 2025.

Motorists and applicants are advised to take note and plan accordingly.
