Manchester City have completed the signing of Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal worth €70m (£59m).
The 25-year-old Omar Marmoush has signed a contract with Manchester City until June 2029, with potential add-ons increasing the deal by £4m.
Marmoush has been in impressive form this season, scoring 15 goals in 17 Bundesliga matches—just one goal behind England captain Harry Kane’s 16 for Bayern Munich.
“Manchester City is one of the biggest clubs in the world over the past decade, so the decision was easy,” Marmoush said. “It’s a pleasure and an honor for me and my family to represent Manchester City. It makes them happy, and it makes me happy to see my dreams becoming a reality. The last two seasons have been amazing, but this is just the beginning for me.”
In addition to Marmoush, City have bolstered their squad with two January signings: 19-year-old Brazilian defender Vitor Reis from Palmeiras for £30m and Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov from Lens for £34m.
