Spain has cancelled a contract worth about âŹ700 million (roughly US$820-$825 million) with Israel.
The contract was for rocket launcher systems (12 âSILAMâ rocket launcher systems), based on the Israeli Elbit Systemsâ PULS platform.
This is part of a broader move by the Spanish government to phase out military procurement from Israeli companies and to tighten legal bans on equipment or armaments sale/purchase involving Israel.
